Baby Moves Inc. is an early intervention program that consists of a multidisciplinary team providing in-home direct services for young children from birth to three years of age.  The team includes the following service providers: physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech and language pathologist, and infant development specialist.

The goal of Baby Moves Inc. is to promote health, development and well-being of its consumers so they can ultimately achieve their highest level of function and independence at their homes and community.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy services include: screening and evaluation to identify movement dysfunction and/or gross motor developmental delay, and interventions to address and/or prevent movement dysfunction and gross motor delays.

Infant development services include: developmental and educational experiences for children to improve their global development.

We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in home services in the Stanislaus County for children age 0 to 3 years that have been diagnosed with developmental delays/disabilities.

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
  • Certification as a SLP by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Completes accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with professional and compliance standards to best reflect the patient's status and needs.
  • Able to communicate effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary team (e.g. physical therapist, early interventionist, occupational therapist)

Early Intervention Program Specialist

The program specialist would be responsible for the following:

Maintain and improve the overall quality of services for clients receiving services from the early intervention program.

Contact families for feedback about services and to address any concerns or questions.

Receive new referrals and check that a team member is assigned to assist each family.

Communicate with the local Regional Center about any issues that might arise concerning a family.

Responsible for providing appropriate support to the program staff.

Verify that all early interventionists have the requisite training to conduct home-based visits with children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families.

Inform team members of the latest best practices in
the field.

Make sure developmental reports are sent on time and are well written.
